Company Overview

Research Services

Stoneville R&D, Inc. has three research farm locations in Washington County, Mississippi, comprising nearly 300 acres of the best agricultural soil types in the Mid-South area of the United States. The rich alluvial plains of the Mississippi Delta provides an excellent environment for crop production research.

SRD, Inc. is comprised of the original SRD, Inc. research farm in Metcalfe, Mississippi.  A second farm, located in the former BASF Research Station,  is located  near Greenville, Mississippi, south of the original facility. The third site is located near Burdette, MS and is ideally suited for large plot demonstrations and market training.

The South Farm is headquarters for SRD, Inc. The three locations are ideally suited for field research in cotton, rice, soybeans, wheat, corn, grain sorghum and vegetables. Stoneville R&D, Inc. also has excellent GLP facilities and on-site weather technology. All sites are equipped with lateral irrigation systems. Our agronomic system also allows for furrow irrigation. Accommodations for pecans, turf and greenhouse research are available as well.

Cooperators “prescribe” their needs, and we implement them according to their schedule.
